Student
Five O’level credit passes in WASC/GCE/SSCE/NECO or any of their recognized equivalents at not more than 2 sittings in relevant subjects, which include English Language and Mathematics.
Associate (AICA)
This membership grade can only be attained by taking the Institute professional examinations should the applicant be unable to satisfy the requirements for direct entry. However, holder of Specialized Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Credit Management of the Postgraduate School of Credit & Financial Management Studies (PSCFM) shall be regarded as qualified for this grade.
Graduate (MICA)
To be considered for “Graduate Member” of ICA by direct entry, candidate must possess good honours degree or its equivalent with relevant working experience at credit management level not less than three years. In addition to the above stated qualifications, candidate must show evidence of professional membership in the same grade or “associate grade” obtained from relevant recognized professional body. The period when such qualification was obtained must not be below two years as at the time of applying for ICA (MICA) membership.
Fellow (FICA)
This grade shall be attained by a candidate of notable professional and academic achievements in the field of credit and financial management, or occupies top-level position in management with functions having to do with credit, financial, accounting and marketing in a directorate capacity either at present or in the past, including membership of related professional Institutes on Similar grade.
Corporate Membership
This grade is for business organizations who give or receive BUSINESS CREDIT i.e. Trade Credit, Financial Credit, Corporate Credit, Consumer Credit, Micro-Credit, International Credit. They enjoy the following benefits:
- Will be receiving six (6) copies of the Institute’s monthly Journal The Credit Manager
- Attends with minimal cost the Institute’s Credit Management seminars and conferences.
- Could win the Institute’s prestigious “Credit Quality of the Year Award”.
Affiliate Membership
This is a non-professional grade, carrying no designatory letter, for those who wish to subscribe to the Institute’s services but who, for whatever reason, are not yet seeking full professional membership.
