Landmark Achievements
ICA in an attempt to bring all its members together in a forum to plan and discuss professional and administrative matters affecting the Institute was able to organize its first National Credit Management Conference in November 2003.

It is needless to say that the conference was very successful, the impressive attendance of both the corporate and individual members as well as massive publicity accorded to it by the press is a confirmation of this. CBN, NDIC, FUTA-Akure & Kogi State University and over 200 Nigerian Credit Managers were in attendance.

Two Universities Introduce Credit Management Course
Prior to the establishment of ICA, there was neither any university nor organized group that offer Credit Management courses in Nigeria.

The Institute, within its three years of activities has been able to brave all the odds to get two Nigerian Universities (Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) and Kogi State University Anyigba) to begin the process of incorporating Credit Management Studies into their degree programmes.

The Institute’s Credit Managers Evening

Recently, the Institute held its first Credit Managers Evening in Lagos. This is another unique gathering where Credit Managers and their spouses congregate together in a lighter mood to discuss their jobs, ethics and professionalism in Credit Management.
